Salvation Army pastors say goodbye to Rutland

Dear Editor,

We have served the Rutland County for the past nine years as the Pastors and Administrators for the Salvation Army. We are under farewell orders and will be leaving Vermont at the end of June. We will be moving back to New Jersey and will be the Pastors and Administrators for the Salvation Army there. We have been blessed by the support and kind heart of this community. We have and will continue to say that “This community has the biggest heart.” We have enjoyed the beauty of this lovely community, and even though there are many struggles, we have and will take fond memories with us. It will be hard to say good-bye to our family and friends, but we will forever hold them close in our hearts. Thank you for your support during our time here, many blessings to all of you.

Good-bye and may God bless,

Majors Chuck and Rose Balcom
