Thursday, June 30 at 7 p.m.—FAIR HAVEN—The Fair Haven Concerts in the Park 2016 Summer Series once again welcomes Spurs USA to the stage. This is the third in the series of ten concerts and will be held on Thursday, June 30 in the park beginning at 7 p.m. Fair Haven has one of the loveliest parks in Vermont and it makes a wonderful venue for the summer evening concerts. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair or blanket.

Spurs USA is a crowd favorite and we expect a large gathering in the park again this year for the band’s visit. This band brings the best of country music and plays hits by Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and many more legends. If you like tunes such as “Hey, Good Looking,” “On the Road Again,” “Jambalaya,” “All My Exes,” and “Mama Tried,” then this is one concert you will not want to miss.

Great classic country music is played by seasoned and passionate musicians. Andy Gordon masters the pedal steel and banjo. Paul Rice makes the fiddle sing and adds vocals and electric guitar. John Barrett plays bass guitar, and Terry Hall is a drummer extraordinaire. New Yorker Dwight O’Neil lends his sweet Southern lead vocals and guitar. Dona Federico performs lead vocals, plays small percussion and has a gift for really engaging with her audience.

Concertgoers can begin arriving any time after 4 p.m. to enjoy the beautiful setting. Picnic tables and benches can be found throughout the park. Door prizes are drawn during intermission and 50/50 tickets are sold. Food items are available for purchase; and the ice cream is free at this concert.
