Texas hold ‘em poker tournament to benefit Macy’s Parade-bound cheerleaders

Friday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. — NORTH CLARENDON — A Texas hold ‘em poker tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. at the North Clarendon Grange on 111 Moulton Avenue, North Clarendon. Proceeds will benefit two local cheerleaders, Brooke Bove, a Mill River 2015 graduate and Kelsey Goodell, a Mill River senior. These athletes have been selected to perform with Spirit of America Productions at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. Initial buy-in is $60, $20 of which will go to charity. There will be unlimited buy-ins the first hour (if less than starting stack) and one add-on at the first break. 100 percent of all re-buys and add-ons will go to the prize pool. Come enjoy a night of free food and drink, an active tournament, and support these local athletes.
