Mother's celestial inspirations

The layers of interpretation are endless

By Cal Garrison, a.k.a. Mother of the Skye

This week’s Horoscopes are coming out under the light of an Aries Moon, on the Eve of Sept. 1. According to the prophets and the soothsayers the next 30 days are supposed to be one Hell of a time. Many have said that we’re not going to make it through the gauntlet, and that by the time the Pope arrives on the 22nd of September, the Sky is going to fall.

God only knows what is true or who to believe? Between the Blood Moons and the Fall Equinox, everyone is going nuts with the predictions. I try to keep up with things as best I can. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what other people are talking about and I do whatever I can to understand where they come up with their predictions. This time around, I have had a tough time getting to the bottom of things — until yesterday.

What can I say? I am a total astrology nerd. I woke up from a nap with the realization that the South Node of the Moon will be transiting the Aries Point through the month of September, and beyond. The Node hits zero degrees Aries on Sept. 11 and will remain stationed there until Nov. 11. This is Huge. The Aries Point is the Alpha and Omega point in the Zodiac. It is where everything begins and ends. It is also the point that governs “All of Humanity”: transits to the Aries Point have an impact upon absolutely everyone on the planet.

The South Node of the Moon is the Karmic inlet from the past. Layering the image of the Aries Point over the South Nodal archetype, the image becomes one of, “All of Humanity releasing the contents of the past in a moment where the past and the future collide and give birth to a New Age.”

This is one way to look at it. The layers of interpretation are endless — but what’s happening over the next two months is going to be about as intense as it gets, for better or worse. Anything that is in integrity, will remain true to itself and evolve. Anything that is out of integrity will fall down and be destroyed. Look around — you can see it everywhere — this is where the first get to be last and the last get to be first, and Jesus Christ, who knows? The meek just might inherit the Earth.

Give that some thought, consider your relationship to everything, get out your magic prayer cloth, plunk your magic twanger, keep the light in your heart attuned to the unconditional love that gave birth to all of this in the first place — and enjoy this weeks’ ‘scopes.
