Saturday, Feb. 1 at 8:30 a.m.—KILLINGTON—The Vans® Snowboard Jam Series is coming to Killington. In this style-focused competition, inverts and rotations over 720 degrees are not permitted. Style is everything. Competitors will earn cash for tricks in four jam sessions, two sessions for ages 15 and under and 30+ and two for ages 16-29. There will also be a Van Doren creative trick contest from 2:30-4 p.m.
A total of $500 cash, plus lots of goodies will be given out throughout the day in $5 increments. If the MC/judge considers the trick a success, the rider will earn $5 until the allotted total has been distributed. Four riders will earn a special prize among all categories: MVP (Male/Female), The Dillion Ojo Award, Worst Bail and Van Doren Best Trick.
Participants and spectators may also join Vans inside for Customs workshops with a local artist throughout the day. Participate in the workshop for a chance to win a pair of Vans® Customs.
