Vermont Pastel Society exhibits at Compass

Sunday, June 5 at 1 p.m. — BRANDON — The Compass Music and Arts Center presents “The Sky’s the Limit,” a juried exhibit of work by members of the Vermont Pastel Society (VPS). Two nationally respected pastel painters, Alan Flattmann and Karen Israel, juried the entries from the VPS members, selecting 44 paintings for the exhibit. Christine Ivers, signature member of the Pastel Society of America, will serve as exhibition judge, presenting awards to three winners and three honorable mentions. An opening reception with the awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. The exhibit will run June 3 through July 29.

The exhibit showcases the wide range of work from 26 of the 100 society member artists.

The Compass Music and Arts Center is located at 333 Jones Drive, Brandon.
