Voting closes just prior to “Selfie” exhibit reception

Cecelia Kane documented 89 days of how she felt via selfies, in the exhibit “How do I feel today?”

Saturday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. — RUTLAND — The Chaffee Art Center welcomes everyone to come celebrate the Selfie Exhibit, featuring artist Cecelia Kane and participants in Chaffee’s 9th Annual Photography Contest. Cecelia Kane’s “How do I feel today?” installation shares her investigation into who she is and how she feels. The exhibit features 89 days of selfies with her face inked with how she felt at that moment.

Chaffee’s 9th Annual Photography Contest was themed “Selfies.” Awards will be given out at the reception, including People’s Choice. Public voting will close on Feb. 5 at 5 p.m.The awards ceremony and reception will be held that evening, Feb. 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. Refreshments will e served.
